StoryBird A place where you can create your own story books! Create your own or have your students collaborate and each make a page using their own accounts. The books can then be printed and brought into your classroom or parents can order them for home! Being used by first grade currently, with plans to also use in second and possibly Kindergarten.

KidBlog A safe, secure website where students can "blog" about topics you choose, or free write on their own. Being used by fourth, fifth, and sixth grade currently.

Glogster Students can make virtual posterboards. Includes pictures, videos, music, and graphics.

Google Body Still in "labs" stage. Amazing 3D rendering of the human body on all axis. You can isolate certain body systems & organs. You will need Firefox or Google Chrome as your web browser. Internet Explorer will not work.

Google Art Project Museums & art from all over the world! More museums being added! You can tour the art or take a walk through the museum. It is similar to Google Earth.

Google Fast Flip is a web application that lets users discover and share news articles. It combines qualities of print and the Web, with the ability to "flip" through pages online as quickly as flipping through a magazine. It also enables users to follow friends and topics, discover new content and create their own custom magazines around searches.

Google News Timeline is a web application that organizes search results chronologically. It allows users to view news and other data sources on a browsable, graphical timeline. Available data sources include recent and historical news, scanned newspapers and magazines, blog posts, sports scores, and information about various types of media, like music albums and movies.

Tagxedo Similar to Wordle. This generates word clouds, but there are customizable shapes (ex: Lincoln, hearts, bears, shamrocks). Will be used in 3rd Grade.

Spelling City You can upload your own spelling lists and students can play games or take quizzes online!
